Job Description
Nam Ngiep 1 Power Company Limited (“NNP1PC”), which has been established since April 2013 by the Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc in Japan. (“KANSAI”), EGAT international Co., Ltd. in Thailand (“EGATi”), which is 100% of subsidiary of EGAT and Lao Holding State Enterprise (“LHSE”), and is developing a hydropower IPP project with its capacity of 290 MW located on the Nam Ngiep river in Bolikhamxay Province under the concession agreement with the government of Laos for 27 years after its commercial operation. NNP1PC is currently looking for suitable candidates as full time position of engineers in Bolikhamxay Province. Junior civil engineer for road, civil structure and architecture (1 Position)
(Work location) Pakxan, Bolikhamxay province
(Salary) Approximately 500 USD depending on his or her ability
(Main Tasks and responsibility)
- To support senior engineer to supervise construction works including contractor’s management on safety, quality, construction schedule and work volume in accordance with requirements under a contract document at the construction site.
- To support senior engineer to check work volume and/or calculate the amount from drawings and other documents.
- To support senior engineer to arrange and coordinate meetings with related authorities and the government including provincial and district office for construction works (drafting documents such as official letters submitted to the government or related authorities, as case maybe,
- To support of translation related documents b/w English and Lao
- To attend the meetings including making explanations and drafting minutes of meetings.
(Professional Background and Qualifications)
- Bachelor degree would be desirable.
- Basic computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point and Auto CAD.
- Basic interpersonal and organization skills and English (spoken and written)
- His or her age less than 29 years old would be desirable
